the marsh isn't the most comfortable of places to live. generally, this is where the outcasts are sent. the grazing is crap and there's nine kinds of bugs to make a horse's life hell. oh, and a horse probably has to cross it to reach the Pointe, or the rest of the island.

the Whites are the mountain range that spans the western half of the island. they aren't particularly big mountains, but occasionally, one will see a white cap...occasionally.

this forest is made up of only pine trees and boarders the Deann. it stretches the entire length of the eastern side of the moutains, almost halfing the island down the middle.

this would be the hill country of Decessus. the ground is mostly rocky and causes even the most seasoned of horses to stay cautious. these rocks hurt.

this little area is fairly well protected. The highlands gaurd it to the north, the Pine to the east and the Menos to the west.

this deciduous forest is breathtakingly gorgeous. or at least, it was once upon a time. now, there aren't many around that appreciate beauty anyway, so who really knows?

well, the ancestors were very original with most of the names of places. they failed on the lake. it's almost exactly in the center of the island, of course it gets a fitting name.

the flat plain that separates the northern part of the island from the desert doesn't really have a name. it's just a flat piece of ground covered in grass and a few short bushes.
