Ranks In The Desquamation

Empress: The highest rank (opposite of Emperor) in The Desquamation. She is the Queen Bee. She makes, changes, and enforces the rules of the herd.
Emperor: This male is the Empress' favorite male, to say the least. He has special rights of power over the other members, but he still has to respect the Empress. Depending on the male he may be seen as an equal or just a pretty genetic donor with a fancy name.

Baroness/Baron Second in command he or she is the Empress' advisor. They help with schemes, help watch and guide the herd, and most importantly acts as the police. Baroness' or Barron's are able to breed with whatever other member they want (with the exception of the Empress). Often they will pick a favorite of the opposite gender as their general mate.

Lasses: These are the females of the herd. They follow the rules and enjoy the security of a family. They help with any fights, as they are a part of the group and must help defend their territory and family. Lasses will often take care of other member's foals, ones of the higher ranking officers, or they can adopt a straggler if they choose.
Lads: These males are allowed to stay within the herd. They can take mates and breed with Lasses, if they obtain permission from the lass and the higher ranking officers before them. They help with battles and are usually the second line of defense.

Lessors: These horses are outsiders or have not yet obtained the right to be a Lad or Lass. They are often forced to prove that they will be able to help the herd and keep it safe. Sometimes lessors are considers 'slaves' of Desqumation. They are often the first line of defense, going into battle to prove their worth.

Spawn: These are the young ones, babies, born of the high ranking members of the herd. Other babies are just considered foals. [/color]

Rules

Joining:

• You have to earn the rank of Emperor/Baron/Baroness. Usually this is done by meeting with the Empress and not only expressing the desire but proving the ability. This can be done through having to do various tasks, fighting, or general roleplaying.
  
• Sidenote: Sometimes you can obtain it through Private Messaging - by giving/making a good plot, back story, or just having an impressive application.
  
• It is suggested that you Private Message the Empress if you are applying to be a part of the Herd.
  
• You can apply as a general Lad, Lass, or foal.

Members:

• What the Empress says goes, or you will be likely maimed (especially males), tortured, starved, kicked out, or be guided to some hungry wolves.
  
• Desqumation is ruled by females in general. FEAR THE ALMIGHTY UTERUS!
  
• Females have the tiniest more say over males in general.
  
• Males may try to force breed at their own risk.
  
• Penalty for breaking rules or being a pain in the butt of the Royal Family have been stated above. And if you have any foals, they may just take a long walk off a short cliff.
  
• Lessors can be accepted into the herd by other members, with the exception of the lads or lasses, unless put to a vote.
